Danger Island

An ensemble of site-specific theater performers interprets a fiction screenplay designed to interrogate performative tactics for surviving the end of the century. Through recorded actions within shifting settings, publics and frames of reference, these happenings on stages, streets, and moving trains, and in apartments, parks and grand public atriums in New York City challenge perception and reality for performers, filmmakers and audiences. This excerpt opens with the recording of a staged-in-public rehearsal.
